    For calendar, I use Google Calendar. Syncs perfectly with BB.

    I like pocket informant. Can sync directly to outlook for work and then use google sync for my family calendar. .

    I had got2 for a while but really got tired of it pretty quickly. You have nothing to lose by trying the free version though and you may like it. For me the native task and calendar apps both work great. I have customized the groups to fit my needs. You could also look at Mara Tick
