You don't really need that app. It's basically just a shell to launch you into the MOBILE version of the bank. (They did the same thing to the iPhone folks).

    Here's the link:

    https://www.bankofamerica.com/mobile...ileDevice=true

I can get it to work on my 8830, so I would be surprised if it didn't work on the Storm. Will try and post if it doesn't.

I have not been able to get the app to download to my phone nor able to access the mobile banking website.

I receive the error "for security reasons, your device can't access Mobile Banking."

What do I need to do?

I used the backup 3rd application method to extract the bank of america file from my 8830. It does not recognize the storm. Enjoy

Storm has not been added to "approved devices" yet. When I first bought the XV6800 last year it was added about a month after the phone was released. Maybe the same thing here. But as sammedic stated just go to bankofamerica.com. Kind of tricky getting the password in there and hit OK though.

I posted the .alx file that is needed for Bank of America just use your desktop manager to install it onto your Storms. If you use it this way it will definetly work. you will need to use your cursor to navigate the page a little

B of A didn't work for me and then a couple days later it did, without me changing anything. If it's not working for you try again a few hours later or maybe tomorrow and see what happens.

i have also downloaded the app directly of mobile banking site.

When i launched the app it launched in a portrait view and not landscape as they are selling on their site, also my keyboard stays open and i cannot close it, in addition the scrolling is fully reversed and the button selection doesn't work unless i'm in scroll mode.

This is a really crappy application

yeah but on my phone the app launches with the keyboard up which i cannot get rid off, the scrolling is reversed and the touch screen option doesn't work.
the app itself is a bit more then taking you to the browser the bank locations actually work with in the app, but that's it

It doesn't just take you to the mobile site. If you play with the latest version more you would see that there is also a location feature built into the app. What this feature does is use the GPS to locate the nearest ATMs and BofA banks. It also gives you the directions to these locations, their service hours and phone numbers.
