i tend to try out the most popular apps but i just find that i end up keeping

    where
    google voice
    google maps
    bb weather
aerize card loader 2008 (though it works sometimes only)
    opera mini

i tried viigo and vlingo but didnt really instantly love them like everyone else did. i dont mind making bookmarks in the browser and getting my info that way. i'm a guy who is big on searching google so I tend to find my info that way

I never used many apps till the tour. .Seems like on my curve anything over like 3 apps it would slow it down alot. Now the apps I do have I actually use.

this is my first BB and the only apps i downloaded were: Facebook, AIM, Google maps, and Pandora..I'm not really interested in anything else. I think when the next baseball season starts, I'll get the gameday audio for the blackberry (5 dollar one time fee i think) and i can listen to baseball games...other than that, i don't really care for anything else.

I'm not finding a use for a lot of the apps either. I was using poynt until it mapped an address wrong..might try viigo next. Do those two do basically ther same thing?

    Viigo is nothing like Poynt

You can do a lot of things online without apps, but:
    -they tie up the browser
-the bb browser isn't good for rendering non-wap sites anyways
-the UI isn't necessarily as good as an app written for the BB
    -no chance of push notifications

    Not everyone wants that.

I love the apps. That's the whole point of the memory...

    Pandora
    Google Talk
    Facebook
    SocialScope
    BerryWeather
    AIM
    YouMail
    Poynt
    ScoreMobile
    Amazon
    OpenTable
    Google Maps
    Food Network
    Blackberry App World
    Google Mobile App

and I still get 124 MB free without drops!

My favs are Viigo, Ubertwitter, Google Sync, google maps. My memory is precious. Wish they'd let aps reside on the removable card instead of limiting us to the internal memory.

I don't use too many apps on my BB (same for when my Tour comes in the mail). Right now I only use:

    SocialScope
    Pandora
    Windows Live (when necessary)
    Opera Mini
    Google Voice

Never been a huge app guy myself. Just have FB, AIM, BBWeather, Pandora, and a Chicago Cubs shortcut. Pretty plain.
