verizon now offers backup assistant for blackberry its available free in the app center. It works really well and runs automatically and can be set to run during certain parts of the day. It's also free. There is also mIQ from best buy mobile that is also free. It does alot more than backup assistant like backup pictures, videos contacts, and more. Its also free
mIQ

Google Sync is free, and is a great app to have. Calendar and contacts backup, and you will always have it readily available.
I guess I don't understand why you would need any type of contact backup. Your phone syncs with outlook and backs up tasks, calendar, contacts, and notes right out of the box..
Not everyone uses a PC, nor do they use Outlook though.
Just do a phone backup, or if you're with verizon use the backup asst

idrive lite is a good app for this
Get backup assistant. It's free and it's simple to use. Plus it lets you access your contacts from the web.
As does Google Sync. I don't know why this is so hard, when it shouldn't be.
Nothing is easy when it comes to the OP.
I think I removed app center with bbsak =/

Why would you pay for something that you can get done for FREE? You don't need app world to download Google Sync.
m.google.com/sync right from the phone. Done.
Google Sync or MiQ are going to hands down be your best bet. Personally I use Google Sync so its easy to manage, everything is always tied to the same gmail account so i dont forget / lose anything
OP wants to drive from New York to California, but is trying to do so via Florida.
It's a simple app, is small, is fast, is reliable, is free and is easy to use. It's a no brainer.
Cody. Nothing else need be said. ;)
