I just downloaded the free trial app from golflogix for the tour, from their website and am going to try it out this weekend and post my findings. Anyone else try this yet?

Haven't tried a GPS golf app yet, I've read lots of posts, etc. but I guess I just need to jump in head first and grab one. It'll give me an excuse to play a round, as if I need one already...

You can find the apps in the software section. just go to search and make sure you click software, then enter your search request...here is some more info:

*Screen to show your max, min, and average for each club hit
*Export to CSV file on SD card
*Ability to check for new versions

    BBGPSGolf

When you mark a shot you can upload your shot stats to the web sites online database

Search for the courses so you dont have to download the full course database. This will help save on bandwidth and help increase the speed on the BlackBerry
Only download courses in your country
You can add new golf courses online
After you add a golf course online it is available to download on the BlackBerry
You can Mark your current location on the BlackBerry to tell you how far you hit a golf shot
You can change between meters and yards for the distance on the BlackBerry
You can see your current Latitude and Longditue, and you can see the Latitude and Longditue for any marked items
View your speed in KMH or MPH
You can view the any of the locations via clicking the Google Maps like when viewing a course
Ability to add a location while playing a round of golf on the BlackBerry to update the database the next time the course is downloaded
Ability to update a location while playing a round of golf on the BlackBerry
Ability to add, and mark a new golf course with the BlackBerry
