Vodafone works well on the 9700. Just download the Bold 9000 version. It notifies you with an icon and counter when there are new Tweets and New Comments on your Facebook wall but does not notify you of any other Facebook messages like friend invites or private messages. The notifications are not pushed but can be set to retrieve at several different intervals of your choice. I use it along side Facebook and use it completely for my Twitter app.
