Hi All,
I'm new to Crackberry but have picked up a lot already!
Sorry if this as been posted elsewhere but I'm hoping to get some help transferring app's to a replacement VZW 8830. The old 8830 works but is intermittent so they sent me a warranty replacement. I could be doing something stupid but I'm using the Desktop Manager (V4.7) to backup up the old and restore to the new but no app's are restored. I can see the app's on the old so I know they are there. Both devices are 4.5.138

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Desktop Manager has "Device Switch Wizard", which transfers apps and data from one BB to another. You should be using that instead of backup and restore, which only stores data.

Thanks. That's what I used originally and it didn't work. I guess I can go back and try it one more time. Maybe something failed...

Make sure you switch out the pins

Did it again and it worked. Not sure what went wrong the first time but I'm sure I screwed something up. Strange.
