I wanted to use 3jam sms excluslvly on my bb 8900. I firewalled sms so I wouldn't get notifications. Worked. Now I'm able to receive 3jam without native sms. Only problem is no ringtone. I know duh cause I disabled or firewalled native sms. is there a workaround so I can be notified by a sound? I tried going into profiles but doesn't list 3jam. Anyways wondering if anyone has succesfully found a workaround

Just making sure you get my info...How did you "firewall" the native sms?
I will be happy to give you a free copy of BBText2IM and get notifications working for it as well
