- Hello everyone! I recently swapped the radio code in my .151 install with .132 so I could again listen to Pandora (favorite app a must have for me). My question is since I swapped the radio code I have to deal with the color banding again and the spinning clock, not a huge deal but after running .151 for a week I miss the color clarity it provided. So do we know what file in the .151 leak fixed the color banding? Or was it included in the radio file (what I fear because that's all I swapped)? I also think the browser is a bit slower if that makes since, so I'm assuming that it is included in the radio swap as well. Does anyone have the 5.0 Bold browser file they could send me so I could swap the Browser file I have? That's the one that seemed to work the best for me! Thanks in advance!

I've downloaded at least 5 updates prior to this one and all I ever had to do was download it and desktop manager would take care of the rest. Even though many argue that .151 is the fastest Os thus far, there's no doubt that it's also has the most bugs out of any Os in a long time. Give us a more stable Os please!!07-20-09 08:31 PMLike 0

If you must use an older radio file, maybe try 141 or 148 instead of 132? You'll still have the banding, but might speed up a bit.07-21-09 08:58 AMLike 0 - You are correct that the radio file is what brought back the color banding. The radio file is your core operating system. If you are going to use an older radio file than .151, you will have the banding, unless you go all the way back to .90 (NOT recommended).

agree with recommendation to try 141 or 148 radio.07-21-09 09:20 AMLike 0 -
- I did not have any problems originally either. But after a week or so I started getting the memory error and some registry error. Everyone else thanks for the suggestions! I swapped the radio back to .148 and went to load it up but decided to wait and the funny thing is besides the color banding and the occasional clock spinning everything else seems to be pretty good. My accelorometer is really fast and my signal has been bouncing between 4-5 bars XEV! also despite everyone saying that the battery life stunk with .132 when I installed just the radio over .151 my battery has been great! I unplugged my phone at 5:30 this morning and uses it mod-heavy all day and I still have only lost 1 bar 14hrs later????? Anyway thanks everyone!07-21-09 07:08 PMLike 0
