Ok, so here's a bizaare one.

I'm obviously not using it anymore, but I found my old BlackBerry 7520 the other day and figured I'd poke at it a bit for fun.
I used some of the tutorials to access the Engineering Screen, and found a very odd menu item:

If you go to OS Engineering Screens, the final option in the list is "Remove head from sand"! No joke! If you select it, the device makes a series of musical tones, and the menu item changes to read "Insert head into sand"! Select it again, the device beeps once, and it changes back to "Remove head from sand".

Not that this is of any practical value anymore, but does anyone here know anything about that, and if it actually does anything?

    Thanks!

A new one on me! I gave your thread title a little boost, though. The original could be taken too many ways.

That must have been an Easter Egg added by a RIM engineer as a jibe against co-founder Mike Lazaridis, a man infamous for having ears full of sand.
