BlackBerry Motion will be sold everywhere so reserve your Motion today!
Before I put a pre-order, can you please let me know if yours is fully unlocked from provider? Also, is yours the BBD-100-1?
Wil l an unlocked BBD-100-2 work on the Rogers network?
Yes (probably, it's not 2006 anymore worrying about bands isn't a thing unless you're on about Band 66).
just ordered it through telus website. wanted some real reviews, but I just referenced the keyone feedback instead (since they are almost the same).
Got my hands on a Motion today. I was initially concerned about the size shock going from a Z30 to the Motion. Although larger, the phone doesn't feel as unwieldy as I thought it might. It was quite comfortable in the hands.

Basically it's on their terms. Go with the cheapest rate then cancel after a month. Wait till it is at Walmart or Staples unlocked. Usually a month or two later. I find it cheaper at Staples and then subscribe to their emails and get coupon discount $20-$50 off that's what I did last year. 😀
As with all things of limited supply (that's everything incidentally) and demand greater than supply (which appears to be the case here for now) sellers will attempt to impose some set of conditions that benefit them.
There's nothing particularly wrong with this provided they cannot force a purchase, and they can't. So screw 'em and wait -- it will not be long before TCL/BBMobile has a perfectly good incentive (it's called the profit motive!) to put into the supply chain sufficient supply that demand can be met and then the imposition of those terms will disappear in at least one retailer, which of course is all you need to happen.
Like the idea of the Motion, just debating over another Dtek60 (had one at last job), or Motion. Dtek60 battery life was c#*p, for some reason the Bluetooth would kill the battery even only on for a couple hours a day. Couldn't get from 7 AM to 7 PM without a recharge, with only 2 hours of Bluetooth on. Concerned about sound (love my Z30 for conf. calls, Dtek was OK), and don't want a worse camera than the Dtek60. Not a spec wh#*e, and I get that the 625 will contribute to battery life. Will wait and see from some users and reviewers how they compare. Still using my Z30 and have a functional Z10 that I like as well. Just need to go to the BBAndroid to get more functional apps. Too many don't work (or are laggy) on my Z30. Not a gamer, don't care about that. Tried a Passport SE, don't want to go back to a PKB. Wondering if there will be a faster/better Motion in a few months as happened with the Dteks and Keyone.
My surname is brampton. Will this help me?
I would like one 😎 ... but I can't see replacing my priv so soon.
Rogers is the same! Thats why I ONLY deal with a corporate store. Some retailers will permit an over the counter sale without having to activate a line or contract. I guess sales reps don't want to lose their new activation commissions.
Yes it is located there
And it is RGB.
