Who used Password Keeper and moved out of BlackBerry.

What did you transfer your password to? Easy or hard?

It's easy to export your data into a standard .csv format and then most any new Password manger will import it.

Yes.. It doesn't always switch well.

I do keep a copy in .CVS

Since it saves to Goggle, does Google have a password keeper?

I used LastPass, without issue.... but only one time. Didn't try to keep going back and forth.

I just use the Google/Chrome password keeper. No extra software required.

So... it must be an app? Or how do you get into it?

Just allow Chrome to remember passwords when signed in and browsing on any platform, and allow Android to remember app passwords on your phone when first prompted. They work together seamlessly.

Oh...that's not the same. I already do that. But I keep a back-up on laptop.
Sometimes you need the actual log-in name and to know the password.

Plus, don't use Chrome on laptop

Yes, and you can look them up easily with Chrome.

    You should.

It's just a simple, elegant solution, protected by your Google 2FA.

I use it but not regular. Usually to sign in for other things. Multiple users work.

Leave mine logged in on one browser and theirs on chrome.

Also, they changed how you look them up. It's very not easy and last time, with updates, I see that you can't actually look them up (on laptop).

Plus, you use to be able to have the "flie" "edit" "view" "history" ect. all across the top. it won't come any, anymore. I guess I mean, using on laptop.. it's a PITA

I switched to Bitwarden. Super easy switch, no issues at all. Everything copied over perfectly. It took only a few minutes.

I switched to LastPass but I did not use csv. Instead I think the other option was xml and it worked much better for transfer

Yeah, they don't all seem to work with xml ... csv doesn't transfer well.

Sort of hate that all my stuff is in a keeper. But way back when, who knew BlackBerry would DIE lol

So I am assuming you're not using the Blackberry suite on your Android? The other apps mentioned are good ideas too, if you liked Password Keeper, then that's another option. I set the BB Suite up on my Nokia and the Password Keeper Export/Import feature was a breeze moving the data from my KeyOne over to the Nokia.

I am using Password Keeper. But not paying for it, if I move to another phone.

Did the phone automatically let you do xml? (I know the xml is way better but I had never found one that did xml... but this was yrs ago)
