I thought this device was supposed to be available in UAE and Saudi Arabia on October 22nd. I haven't seen a single Tweet or post about someone using it, or receiving it.

Is it delayed even before really launching? This doesn't bode well for the many of us hanging on waiting to replace falling apart Dtek's.

I'm sure CBK or Bla1ze have an answer, but are not able to tell us.

Not hard to figure out, just go by every other release where the pre-order expected date was wrong. Axiom now has it listed for Oct. 30. Pre-order expected dates change all the time. It's not the first time and it certainly won't be the last.

Bla1ze I wasn't tryouts to bait you. I understand and respect that you and CBK have to stay quiet about release dates etc. I was just looking forward to unboxing videos and first impressions from UAE and Saudi.

BTW, I tried to order a few BlackBerry Motions from Axiom, but their Website just defaults to the shipping address page when trying to go to the payments page. I want even able to order over the phone or via chat as it did the same to them. I'm suspicious it might be an issue with money moving from Canada to UAE? Just guessing.

I didn't think you were. That said, if you go back through the announcements, the 'dates' given never came from BlackBerry Mobile directly, they were only noted by the retailers themselves. BlackBerry Mobile stuck to 'October', 'November, and 'Later this month'.

And Axiom won't ship out of the UAE or KSA anyway. If someone local could order it and ship to you, that would work but it won't take your order out of the country AFAIK.

Please kindly let us know what the phone is like to use. And how is it with the home button. Is there any way of avoiding using the home button where possible. And if possible how does it compare to black edition K1, thanks.

The home button looks like iPhone. My last device was PRIV. The finger print scanner is highly sensitive. The camera is good. The picture quality is sharp. All in all a very good device. Great value for money. The device is very nippy as compared to the PRIV. Today being my first day with device . Shall update with more findings in couple of days.

For a device larger than keyone and bigger battery it feels much lighter kinda lime dtek . I personally feel it's a cheap build, when you carry the device it doesn't have the bb feel. aesthetics don't translate into feel, if that makes sense.
