I am starting to have more hate against this android 8. When I kind of accepted the fact that I can't lock the notification bar now Whatsapp resets its notification importance from "Low priority"... 😡😡😡 what a crappy OS...any solution to this?
This is a WhatsApp feature! Very annoying.
I have exchanged several messages with customer support and they confirmed that the app is designed to have a minimum importance level of Medium.

I don't understand how they could make that decision for the App's users... they should leave the option of selecting the importance level to us, the users... It is really annoying.
