I may be wrong but I recall TCL had released its own branded analog to the BB Motion with an identical form factor. Can't seem to verify this though. Still using my Motion and researching hard case options; substituting a case marketed for another phone would increase those options.

The Motion had it’s own dimensions and features so it’s own line of 3rd party cases. The Motion failed pretty quick and hard so it wasn’t third party case supported very much or for very long.

Best is to search Amazon or eBay for whatever’s left and buy a couple. TCL phones made afterwards have their own cases and such won’t fit. The exception of course are universal holster cases but that doesn’t help with dropping phone and such.

Well, that settles that then. I was grasping for straws. I've already a cheapo TPU skin and a leather flip case but was searching for something along the lines of an Otterbox commuter or similar -- a bit more protection. Thank you for the prompt reply.

There’s never been anything really along the lines of the Otterbox from Otterbox in any of their product lines. Try Stilgut possibly. Also post a WTB ad here in the CB forums. There’s a special forum area with a special format to post and it’s free.

I think you're confusing the Motion with the Dtek50. It had an Alcatel Idol 4 doppelganger.

Ahh, yes I believe you're correct. Used to have a '50 and must've been confusing the two. Thank you.

Alcatel A7 is the closest, probably? They say that a battery is identical.
As for Motion cases, they disappear fast but some can be found on eBay. I managed to buy Privacy Flip after an intensive search.
Some DTEK60 cases might fit, for example, Swivel Holster Case - it's a bit tight for Motion, but genuine leather adapts after awhile.
