How long did it take from a start point of 20% before?
Does this coincide with you updating to Oreo per chance?
You've tried other chargers and cables?
Buy a QC3 charger.
It would have generally take 3 hours. Now that you mentioned Oreo it probability would be about that time. Problem with Oreo?
Is there a 'fix'?
Thanks for the hint.
What brand would a QC3 charger be? I have a Tronsmart Qualcomm 2.0 Quick Charger but have not tried it.
Another responder seemed to suggest Oreo could be a source of this problem.
Use your QC2 charger.
I like Anker and Aukey
I was just looking in the KEYone forum's and someone says since Oreo update it takes 12 hours to charge!
No. My KEYᵒⁿᵉ behaves normally.
That’s definitely not experience on my AT&T Space Black KEYone
Unbelievable.
Used my Tronsmart last evening and it charged from 28% to 100% in less than an hour.
Is there any fix?
I noticed too that after the updates with a non fast charger and generic cables it takes a lot to fully charge and it needs to be on boost mode, but on the original BlackBerry chargers and other fast chargers with good cables it is the same. So I guess you have to change your cables or chargers. FYI I use the chargers from my Dtek 50 and 60, PRIV and Motion and all work great, When I use an old Samsung charger it doesn't charge except on boost mode and really slow.
I had the same problem once before. I rebooted and cleared memory and pending downloads as well as deleted most recently installed apps. Not sure which fixed it but it did.
It happened again this past week and it would charge overnight to only 30 percent and be dead midday. I tried all that stuff to no avail. I didn't think it would work but I swapped the cable and lo and behold that was it. Turns out the connector was slightly bent and damaged. So people don't dismiss that possibility. I figured either it charges or is doesnt- I was wrong.
