Odd that the PRD-63739-010 still does not have a Sept security update..

Many of the other models have their updated released...

Security Update - Sept - Still nada for PRD-63739-010-sept-security.jpg

Not really when you consider everything is odd about their OS rollouts.

If it makes you feel better: only Korean KEYones have received an update since Oreo rolled out. The rest of us are still stuck on the mid-August original bug-riddled Oreo update. My faith in BlackBerry has dropped to a fraction of what it was since getting my device in March.

    My informative reply from @bbmobile

"You are on the latest PRD for that device. When available for that PRD you will receive it."

PTCRB haven't certified a new build yet - which is required for -009 and -010 variants.

Do you have better information?? It's not October 8th. And still no August September. Should we expect the same for October??

Got to get those new phones out. This is exactly what happened with dtek series.

Since my return to BB finding their businesses model way out in left field. "In it to win it" they appear to be not!

You're referring to BlackBerry Mobile (TCL)?

The alternative was no devices at all, so....

Yes we are - IMO BBMo (TCL) appears to have picked up where BlackBerry themselves left off - and the trend continues.

As for the alternative - if this is how they are going to run their ship why even bother then? If their overhead is too much, they don't have enough resources, blah blah blah, then maybe BBMo/TCL should look at another business venture that isn't so duanting.

I'm pretty happy with my KEYx devices, so it's working out for me anyway.

I wouldn't use any other device even if it was given to me.

    Some people are easily pleased....

Some of us live in the 'real' world.

Isn't there supposed to be a 90 day 'update mandate' from google requiring at least one update every 90 days ??

Or are BB/BBMo/TCL exempt from that, like they seem to be for everything else these days??

The way they are playing 'fast and loose' with current 'customers', there may not be soon either!! Repeatedly treating customers like cannon fodder, does no good for the reputation or the sales figures, that's for sure!! (keytwo already heavily discounted just 2 months after release says it all!!)

It's because I'm NOT easily pleased that I want the keyboard that is only available on the KEY devices.

BBMo is well within the requirement of 90-day updates. On average, they are below 45 days.

Glad you're are happy - besides the camera I'm happy with my Motion too.

I can make anything work for me if need be and obviously that's where we differ... Might have been rockin' a KEY2 or LE as well but what I've seen to-date has kept me at bay as I'm sure it has done for many others.

So you'd prefer BBMo just give up the brand and the keyboard because they have unique economic challenges? I'm not sure how that makes me better off.
