I am using a BB100-1 here in the US that is from Unlocked mobiles , supposedly it is for the east Asian market but it works fine here , maybe not as good as the BB100-2 but it works well
What carrier are you on? WiFi calling and VoLTE working?
I am on ATT and those items are not setup so I cannot answer that , hopefully someone can chime in and answer for you
AT&T doesn't allow them to be set up on third-party devices, so that they don't work on that carrier doesn't surprise.
On T-Mobile, however, they generally DO work unless the device sends the wrong user agent string or similar.... and many non-US market devices do, as they're programmed for European (or Asian) standards.
got my motion today, I have a t-mobile sim on a backup device I can try once I get comfy with the phone.
So it mean, I can understand that the mobile will support all networks in India. Also will I receive security updates??

I would think the phone should work better in your market than it does here. you should get all of your updates. mine updated as soon as I started it up
Thanks, will go ahead and order one...

What carrier will you use the device with?
I m having Vodafone

My only concern is I should not have any issues after buying this mobile from a third party... such as networks, security updates..

I can't find much current information on which bands Vodafone India supports but if the Motion variant you buy matches the bands that their Keyone does I assume it should work if they allow devices not purchased from them.

Keep in mind though, it probably won't be dual sim. I don't believe any dual sim versions of the Motion have released yet.
I don't know if there will be any problems or delays with updates (I assume that depends on which carrier the device is from), hopefully someone else can answer that.
I got mine from Dubai last month and it is BBD 100-6. Dual Sim. Saw the models at Dubai Airport and various retailers, all were BBD 100-6. I am using mine in India and it works well with two major carriers both in home and national roaming network.
What carrier are you with? Were you also able to get the November security update in India?
So you mean to say that I should buy BBD 100-6?. But I believe in the unlocked website it is mentioned as BBD 100-1 I think..

I am with Vodafone. Have also used my Airtel connection in the device to confirm that the dual Sim option works. I am not going to use dual Sim though. Using the slot for external storage with a 64gb micro sd card. It is a hybrid slot - either second Sim or the micro sd card.
I would suggest BBD 100-6. I used a DTEK 60 which was BBA 100-1 and it worked on all carriers but supported JIO VOLTE in home network only and not in roaming. You may want to check Motion models available on Ebay India as they might have the BBD 100-6 imported from Dubai where the phone was first launched. And yes I did get the November update.
Thanks for the details. This helps me... I cannot find any imported BBD 100-6 motion model on any Indian sites, thaty I went to unlocked website...

Check here: https://www.ebay.in/ulk/itm/142554766381
You can also message the sellers on the link I have shared and ask about the models they are selling. https://www.ebay.in/ulk/itm/142554766381
The price is around 40k whereas it is 29k in unlocked website. I don't think 40k is worth for imported mobile, where else I can get an Indian keyone...
