I know some of you are still waiting on the KEYone but I'm off to the next and waiting on the KEYnone (BlackBerry Krypton)

I'm pulling up a chair. Who is joining me?

If they can dress it up in a blackBerry body they will have more success.

Idol 5 looks nice and should make a nice low-mid range device.
Mentioned on another thread the mockup above looks like an upside down Z30

If this has flagship specs I would jump from keyone to this then to KEYtwo.

    "Distinctly Different. Distinctly BlackBerry."

I'm almost certain this will be an Idol 5 internally, but otherwise unrecognisable. TCL have explicitly referred to maintaining the "BlackBerry DNA" in upcoming handsets and the DTEK50/60 are visibly being wound down. I wouldn't follow the logic of releasing another clone following the excitement generated by the KEYone's design.

Incidentally, add a logo to the Krypton render above and it would be flawless. Perhaps a real competitor to what I think will be Nokia's upcoming (and well-deserved) dominance in the affordable mid-range.

I will pull up a chair for me and my gracefully aging z30. Perhaps this one will be out in the late fall to catch my 4 year anniversary of the most under appreciated bb10 phone ever launched .

I just hope "BlackBerry DNA" means - among other things - including an RGB notification LED.

3gb of RAM? I hope Blackberry pumps that up to 4 at minimum. After using a Oneplus 3T I won't settle lol

Looks nice but of you already have an aluminium bar at the top for camera housing you don't need the basel just below it and also at the bottom, that thick basel is a deal breaker.. common its 2017 we are talking about

I purchased the KeyOne on launch in the US and enjoyed the PKB... for a time. It's been sold and I am back on my DTEK60. Ready for high-end processor , water resistance, and BlackBerry goodness.

    BlackBerry 'Krypton' rumored specs:

    Snapdragon 625 or 626 processor
    Full HD 1920X1080 display
    4GB of RAM
    4000mAh Battery
    Home button with fingerprint scanner

If it's competitive and not overpriced I might take a look. I suspect it will be neither based on Dtek60 memory.

    Hoping I'm wrong.

Much like many long-time Blackberry fans out there, I'm looking to upgrade to one of the new devices but find myself at a crossroads. Which should I choose: the KEYOne, KEYOne Limited Edition Black, or wait for "Krypton" this October??

If that's it sign me up. I would buy that. Hopefully the finger print reader is in bedded in the glass no button please.

These renderings are ancient. Plus there is no home button. Based on the specs, I would expect it to borrow heavily from the aesthetics of the KEYone...but who knows?

Get rid of the black bezels, so there is no wasted screen. Where is the screen size, gotta get with the program and be minimum 5.7" screen, I think anything under 4gb ram will fail. Make a bigger phone, put in a bigger battery and have a something special under the screen and it might actually do something...I mean sell and appeal to more than just a BB fan. Because if the render is close, that's one good looking phone.
