Guys I need your help. Supposedly there is a BBD100-1 motion for UK and another one for USA. What is the difference? If I have a UK model will it work in thew USA?

The USA/Canada model is the BBD100-2.

Reason is, I sold my motion on ebay but I didn't realize it was a UK model BBD100-1. And now the guy wants hbis money back cuz he can't use Hotspot. I told him that it doesn't matter if it's UK or not if you buy an unlocked non carrier phone you may not get all features.

I am running BBD100-1 on Telus Canada. Just haven't not received the June update yet.

If this is correct then I don't have a problem taking it back. But the guy was fishy to begin with, first he buys it outright instead of bidding (400), then he asks to cancel cuz he "bought it by mistake", then he wants me to send it ASAP cuz hes going on vacation , he's address was verified so it was all good. He complained that it had a UK charger ( I nevr saw it since I was using a different charger), and he wanted to 40 back...lol....i told him I'd send him one for free so his request was absurd. Then I get this other notification that he filed a complaint

Thanks for the help guys. After posting the links from this thread to the buyer (ebay sees the messages as well), he decided to drop the charge.....had he researched b4 dropping 400 bucks on a phone he would've known that it was an international model.

Just so I get this: are you saying your customer is in the USA? If so, it can matter, depending on carrier. I have read that the 100-2, after the June update, can now get hotspot. But not wifi-calling (not sure about VoLTE); however a 100-2 has full functionality on T-Mo usa. BUT I don't think the 100-1 has full functionality on ANY USA carrier.

OK, on AT&T he probably won't know the difference. On t-mo USA all advanced functions only work on the 100-2.

I am brazilian and got my KEYone in UK and i am not complaining about the charger, i am using the DTEK50 wall plug adaptar. Also i got 100-2 by mistake because brazilian frequency suíte better on 100-1 but never got any issue and my Phone works fine on 4G and wifi. So I think the buyer requests are poor
