My blackberry motion first started just dropping calls after 45mins; then it started restarting on its own, then about a few days ago, it started power cycling. It wouldn't even bring me to the home screen. Finally, I purposely entered my password wrong so that my phone can do a hard reset, which it did. I was able to get to the home screen and started setting up the phone again; once it was finished, about 10mins later, it turned off and had the android symbol with a red triangle on the boot screen, I tried to reset it again and it has not come back on since. Does anyone know why it's doing this? How can I fix this? Is it possible?

Any chance the power button is stuck in the depressed position? Try mashing it a bit.

Hold down the power button for 32 seconds to see if it will restart properly.

I tried holding it down for 32sec then 60 sec, still stuck in reboot. Button is fine.

You've been super helpful and resourceful. Please know that you are appreciated. I'm going to try this with my motion, but you've got me thinking about the Samsung A52. At least if it works, I'll have a backup. Thanks again, and keep you posted.

There is nothing anyone can do about it. It's an illegal internal device. No tools exist for it.

You can't stick a DTEK60 board in a Motion.
