Hello, CrackBerry friends.

I just received a notification of the latest upgrade of the Motion 's software.
I had another forum opened due to the fact that the June update was draining my battery in less than 24 hours while it used to go from 100% - 0% in two days and a bit more.

Before downloading this latest upgrade, I would like to know how is the battery working with this new software, as I wouldn't want to go anywhere lower than where I am now with my phone's battery...

I have AAY818 and am currently at 47% battery after a full days use. I did have a battery drain problem a few weeks back that I think was due to a bad hub update. There was another update a few days later that fixed it. It may be worth you checking Google Play to make sure all of your BlackBerry apps are up to date.

First place to check is the Check Battery Level and it should look something like this. Screen is alway the biggest user of power unless you dont use the phone Lol

Give us a screenshot of your battery level and take a look at it.

AAY818 is May security update as far as I remember. June should be ABA761. what are you currently on?

July started and BBD100-1 is still on May Security Patch

I have all of my apps updated always. I constantly checking my Google Play to have them atthe latest upgrade but it happened since the june system upgrade...

I want to know if there has been an improvement in the battery in the july OS upgrade to see if I download it too.

Yes. I check that constantly cause blackberry.com was helping me with my battery but they had nothing to solve due to the fact that they said I was using the phone too much with the other apps and blah, blah, blah🤷 while when I bought the phone and 6 months after that, using the phone more than what I do now, had my battery go from 100 - 0% in two days and a bit more and now in less than 13 hours it runs out of battery...

Just need to know if they improved the battery in this july OS upgrade.

AAY818 is a old one. The latest is ABA761. This update has improved the battery life significantly. There is absolutely no issues with this update on my device.

If you battery is draining with 'normal' use, in 13 hours, something is wrong. After the May update I did notice a drop in battery but now with the June patch, back to normal. But even with the May patch I could easily get through a day +.

Yeah, my phone's battery life seems fine after that update. Admittedly, I'm a light user, but there hasn't been a noticeable loss in battery drain since updating.

I did and it was a waste of time as it seems that the developers of the latest upgrades have been putting a security patch to the upgrade so when you reset if from factory, you'll still have the latest upgrade you installed...

Still nothing here in UK on BBD100-1. Is there an "idiots guide" as to how to make autoloader that does NOT wipe the phone?

I took Motion this month in Serbia .On BBD 100-1 after first switch my device made update on ABA 761
