Many thanks for this - may I ask where to find the upload?
Updated with link.
Many thanks for this
Downloaded, extracted and ran having removed PIN from device. All seemed to go well but it will not boot up following the upgrade. All I get is a flashing white LED. Using vol up and power key I can access the boot menu where I can see the bar codes or turn device off.
10 sec and / or 30 sec power button does nothing.
Selecting continue to boot up just gives the flashing white LED.
Selecting boot into fastboot does not appear to do anything.
Looking at the DOS screen, I see an error that it "cannot load \img\NON-HLOS-global.bin no such file or directory". The extracted autoloader has "\img\NON-HLOS-dsglobal.bin"
Is this the issue I face? Or has my device managed to brick itself?
TIA
Another look at the DOS screen says it cannot load "\img\.mbn no such file or directory" - again does this matter?
I was using "nowipe" option.
I'll revise the script. Hang on.
Sorry about that. I don't have a Motion to test. I think I have the kinks worked out now.
Many thanks Conite, will try it our when uploaded! Appreciate prompt help!
First post updated with new link.
Thanks Conite, downloading now!
Delighted and relieved to say that updated autoloader has work perfectly!! Many thanks for this.
Thanks for this. I've tried all the steps. I do download the file from the new ling but, when I extract it using the 7-Zip file, I don't seem to find any of the flash files. Am I doing something wrong?
Use the latest (and last) Motion autoloader instead:
/blackberry-motion-f469/motion-acf202-autoloader-oct-patch-1177992/
I have tried all steps, including downloading the latest motion autoloader. I've tried using both flash files. It tells me
"loader is not valid for this device"
Then your device isn't reporting something properly or the connection is poor, as the autoloader is confirmed to work on all variants.
Have you tried the Mobile Upgrade Tool?
Thanks so much for your quick response. The only mobile upgrader I found that was quoted to work for the motion as well was the Key2 upgrader Q5.1.8 and, when I ran it, it told me my device had the latest version but the android version on my device is 7.1. I tried the KEY2 ACT563 autoloader. The flash files would run (unlike the Motion_ACF202-all autoloader) but nothing happens (phone would stay in the bootloader menu without anything flashing on the screen)
What is your device PRD? It should be written on the box. For some reason I think you have a pre-production device not meant for resale (which would explain your issues).
And, of course, only Motion autoloaders will work on the Motion.
PRD-63739-805. It is an AAM871 which I thought meant it was a pre-production device and that what was mentioned in a previous thread you responded to for an AAM871 build would fix it. Perhaps I misunderstod?
You must have misunderstood. Nothing can "fix" it, as it isn't broken. You simply can't load anything new on the device.
A PRD ending in -7xx or -8xx means pre-production.
Thanks for your response. I was referring to the post thread in the link https://forums.crackberry.com/blackb...d-8-a-1175787/
This link has nothing to do with what we're talking about here. It's old information (from 1.5 years ago).
I'm referring to what Skiberrydude mentioned in the thread I sent previously and thurasks response quoted again here https://forums.crackberry.com/blackb...d-8-a-1175787/. It's exactly the issue I have
Yes, but we have no early builds left lying around for you to load.
I see. Thanks so much for your help and for taking the time to respond
Link died :( Have you got new link?
