I'm frustrated by the Calendar app on the Motion. I had really hoped it'd be more similar to the calendar app on BB10.
Can any one tell me how to create local calendar entries that do not sync with Google? They are simply stated in a local calendar account. I hope y'all know what I'm talking about. I was able to do it in BB10. I'd also like to know how to select a color for the local calendar entries. I really hate that the color on the BlackBerry Content Transfer (black) can't be changed.

I don't know if there is anything local, other the putting things in the Content Transfer option. I personally just use the Google option, and my work exchange. My assumption is no.

It's not there on Nougat. I haven't gotten the Oreo update yet.

It's stupid in my opinion that there isn't a local calendar option. It's also stupid that the color of the BlackBerry Content Transfer account.
I'm still new to this whole BlackBerry Android OS but I already have determined for myself that BB10 is so much more user friendly & offers much better customization options.

Over the limit I did have Google Calendar on as well which is probably why I got the local calendar.

BlackBerry calendar app seems to be just a fake it has the ability to view calendars without actually having a calendar

Is BlackBerry Content Transfer the equivalent of having a local option?

I used the app "Offline Calendar" to create a local calendar (with color).
