Interesting. Finger print sensor brings the notification tray down. Wonder if that can be done on the KEYone with software?
The keyone keyboard works as a trackpad too so I don't know if it's possible to separate the space key from the keyboard.
On the motion I think you can toggle it to work as a trackpad or to bring down the notification tray , don't take my words tho I'm just guessing
yup it sure looks beautiful doesn't it!
Yes I know I have a KEYone. I'm just wondering if they can make it so you can bring the notification tray down (space bar or all of the keyboard doesn't matter) like the video shows you can with the finger print sensor on the Motion.
On the KEYone the space bar isn't capacitive, so I would say no to that funtionality (I use my convenience key set to a show notifications app instead). On the S8 you can set the finger print scanner to lower the notification shade like in the video, so I guess it is an outside possibility.
My hope is this is a lot more than just that. I would have loved to have seen one of those users swipe sideways on the home button to test for more scrolling. Hopefully in text fields you can bring up a cursor for editing, too.
I'm a PKB guy, but this looks to be a compelling device for many people. Will be fun learn more, but a full roll out is likely months in the future.
Good job BBMo!

this can be done w/ the KEYone space bar. there's an app in GP "fingerprint quick action". FYI - it can be a bit buggy @ times. otherwise, set your notification drop down to the convenience key or swipe gestures (if on another Launcher, not Blackberry).
LG and Google does it on their phones.
Can't see why the KEYone can't either on the space bar finger print sensor, unless it is too difficult it being a pkb and the integration with the os is different
I map a keyboard shortcut to an app called "Pull down Status Bar" which pulls down the tray.
I use the same app (in the app drawer it is called Show notifications), and likely got the idea months ago from Conite! A belated thanks my friend.

This is beautiful. I hope we can order it soon.
I absolutely LOVE this little feature!
