This is one of the best BlackBerry phones I've ever had to date. Passport I would say is first, Motion is second. Still has some zip to it. Does most things well or better. Screen size and overall footprint is good. Fingerprint scanner works good. Convenience key turned out to actually be convenient. Giving the Motion a thumbs-up.

Same here. I'm happy I made the switch from the KeyOne. The virtual keyboard is great. Best BlackBerry for me so far.

Me too. Love this phone. Never even think about battery life as it always lasts me a full day even with heavy use.

Do like that Key2 though, so tempted to buy one cuz it's such a sexy looking phone and hey that keyboard looks awesome!

Mine is so good that for the first time in years I'm not in a hurry to get a new phone. The battery life is so amazing now I can't tolerate a phone that last less than 24 hrs.

The Motion is definitely the best BlackBerry android phone I had. Coming from a Priv and Dtek 60. water resistant, industrial design, battery life ,finger print scanner faster than the Dtek 60. Also, the current software (Locker features, expanded convenience key) just makes the Motion a better experience. The best of all was that it was cheaper than the Priv and Dtek 60.

my Motion works great on Oreo, except it does not learn my mostly used sentence when birthday greetings are sent, my KEYONE learned it and proposed it from the beginning in case I used Facebook messenger. I don't get it, why Motion is offering correct words only after the second word typing it's first character. KEYONE was running Nougat.

The only reason I haven't replaced my dtek60 with a motion is due to the speakers. I owned a Z30 before the dtek60 and won't be able to downgrade since I always the speaker for phone calls.

Got a used Motion in trade, that I knew was not able to update to Oreo. I figured I would use it as a backup for my Dtek60. Wrong!! Now my Dtek60 is the backup and Motion is my primary phone!!

Although the Dtek60 has a better camera, I realize that battery life is much more important to me now.
I agree that this is the best BB I have had (Sorry Z30).
    No rush, but I wouldn't mind a Motion 2.

agree it is a solid choice. had mine two plus months. an experiment for me to see if it can replace my Z30. android is not as good as bb10. but much better than I hoped. Z30 still my main phone but battery is dying, slowly. would like stereo speakers on a motion replacement. PLEASE KEEP THE FANTASTIC BATTERY PERFORMANCE!!

From Z30 to DTEK60 to Motion ... I too am very pleasantly surprised despite being disappointed with abandonment of DTEK60. I'd buy one from Carphone Warehouse in UK if I were you.

Mine has been fantastic for me. The only thing I've ever wished it had was 64GB instead of 32GB. And, a good camera. I'm not in a hurry to replace it, but I do hope they come out with a new version with a better camera. I want to stay with BlackBerry, but I'm not interested in PKB phones anymore.

Love the design and overall physical feeling in my hands.
Great screen size and love the Blackberry apps.
    Water-resistant is a plus.
    Battery life is brilliant.
    Performance in general is excellent.
My main gripe is with the fingerprint sensor that doesn't work properly anymore.
See my post about the Home button for more things about how it works and could be. improved.
I'd be int erested in Motion2. They only have to improve the camera a bit.

In my case, after good few months, looks like card reader failed. Tried few cards, unable to format any of them. Cards are working fine in other devices... Another nail to the coffin. I was planning to replace Motion anyway but now I can't even sell it as used - it is broken, no value or whatsoever. So no, my Motion is not doing great... I need to go through repair process etc. Pain in the "put relevant word here"...
