This is a pic from the new video today.
It's the blue folder called Files near the bottom left corner.
Nice shot from you but I am not sure whether it's a new BlackBerry File Manager Android version or third party app

From the press release we know that the Motion will get a personal locker. You are able to shoot photos which can be saved in this folder and the photos won't be uploaded to a cloud.
Or It is the Android build in file manager.
Pretty sure it's a reskinned tcl file manager.
That would be sweet as hell if it came with a decent built in File Manager. If not, decent 3rd party apps still exist.
The built in file manager is only accessible from the Settings screen, if this has a app drawer icon it's likely a different app.
Yep. Not sure why this is such a mythical thing to people, one of the key features is literally a Locker mode for FILES lol. Of course there needs to be an upfront way of interacting with said files.
I'm just curious if these feature will come to the KEYone. Including the 3 options for convenience key.
AFAIK, Locker and Locker Mode will. Not sure about the Conv. key options though.
you break my heart sometimes :broken-heart:
But it being a software thing, i hope 3 shortcuts feature appears on KeyONE too
@jagrlover You mean it's exactly as I said. Who would have thought? ;)
I though that you meant that the Locker app WAS the file manager. In the picture I see both a Locker app AND a Files app.
I can't find any special locker app in the Motion OS dump, so it's either under a non-obvious name, or it's within the file manager app.
I don't know what an OS dump is, but in the photo I see both a Locker app icon and a Files app icon.
Since we can download OS images for the Motion and KEYone, we can therefore extract APKs like File Manager from them.
Anyway, there's the option to lock files in the latest Motion file manager app installed on my Samsung S8+, but doing so crashes the app. It's probably hooked into something deeper inside the OS, but at least we know it's within the file manager.

so does the locker work on keyone?
Yeah lock won't work on S8+. I just use file manager>share>Samsung Secure Folder.
Does not the stock "Download" app function as a file manager. I used it today on a pixel to show a friend how to move photos to his OTG USB stick.
