Are you using the BlackBerry Launcher? I know that's the default on any BlackBerry android phone, but just wondering if you are using something different. The BlackBerry Launcher should show the BlackBerry calendar date properly on the icon. Some, but not all other launchers play nice with the icon.

That depends on icon pack. Pre-installed BlackBerry 7/10 icon packs don't support that. That works with Whicons I'm using :

The calendar icon should show three dots ... under it. That indicates widgets are available. One of those widgets displays an icon with the correct date. It will show 31, but when you move it to a desktop page, it will change and display the correct date. Give that a try

That's the problem. The BB10 and BB7 icons don't update with the date - even with the BlackBerry Launcher. Only the default (or "system") icon pack with the default BlackBerry calendar icon will show the current date.

You could use the widget icon, but it doesn't quite look right. It will always have "Calendar" title under it, even if you've turned them off (because it's not a regular icon with a separate title). And, if used in line with other app icons, it doesn't line up and is out of scale with the other icons - sometimes bigger, sometimes smaller.

Make sure you have permissions on for CB.

If you are using the CB app, don't use quick reply but "select an action" there you can attach pictures.

Thanks for the answer earlier. I just run into the problem. Then I switched back to use the System icon pack.

Using the Today Icon widget is a good workaround. But I find I will then lose the 3 dots under the original icon for a pop-up agenda widget.

    Thanks.
