I have a new bluetooth device, I paired my phone with it fine, but when it came to the part where you have to add it as a trusted device to be able to use it, I really effed up and typed in the wrong pin.

Now , no matter what I do, even though I can pair with the device, no matter what I do I can't find or get the "add trusted device" bubble to pop up.

I keep getting this now...... Really pissed about the whole thing

I was able to find the spot where "add trusted device" is, but when I click the device to add it I get this message.

It should look like this other device.

And I can't get it to work..... Aarrrggg

Fyi, trusted device has nothing to do with the connection. It only permits not having to unlock the device while connected.

Just ignore fiddling with trusted device for now.

    Ok, thanks.

Any idea why the devices won't connect despite being paired?

    It's not paired.

As to why, it's hard to diagnose from here.

Keep trying to forget and re-pair.

It shows as being paired. It's device E355. The device shows being paired with the phone

Got this to work finally. The device is a pay terminal, and once paired to the phone, there were more steps with a required app to connect the two.
