The -6 is the -1 with dual SIM.
Thanks for the tip! So based on this info, whats the difference between LTE home and LTE roaming? Half of the Rogers LTE bands are listed under the -6 home list and the other half in the roaming list. You think it would be a safe bet to import the -6 for North American use (live in Toronto and travel to the US several times a year)?
No idea, since they're not marked any differently in the FCC docs. The -6 is missing some carrier aggregation bands, though, so you'd have a better experience with the -2.
Rats! Really loving the dual sim KEYone and wanted to keep the single device streak going with the Motion!
It also looks like I'll be handcuffed a bit with the -6 as there doesn't seem to be a storage bump over the 32 GB which will hurt since I'll lose the expandable SD card slot with a second SIM.
Are the -1 and -6 going to be hybrid dual sim slot or 2 sim slots and an SD card?

Probably the former, like how the other dual SIM BlackBerry devices are. And only the -6 will have the dual SIM capability.
If the KEYone is precedent then there'll be a version with more storage launching five minutes after your order of the -6 arrives at your doorstep.
Then the dual sim functionality is pretty crippled with just 32GB storage.

Lol! Very likely! I'm going to wait until December to see what the Motion variant landscape looks like before making a purchase.

I hope this you your reply.

"The Snapdragon X50 5G NR modem family is expected to show up in 5G smartphones and networks in the first half of 2019."
Unless TCL drags out this launch like taffy it's safe to say that it won't have 5G.
I can understand. I felt I was talking something too distant and too ridiculous..:-)

I have an OS to look at now, so I'll update the first post.
New info about China.
Thurask - Are the KeyOne and Motion CDMA versions able to work on US Cellular and Verizon here in the US if ordered from BBMobile or wherever? I think I read here in the forums that some people were able to get a K1 working on Verizon. Is it more just trial and error taking it to either carrier and see? I would prefer a little more certainty and my choice would be the Motion. I believe that is a slight upgrade from my 9850 ;)
It should be the same deal as the KEYone.
Any info as to the supported frequencies on those bands? Does it matter if the supported bands are designated as home or roaming? Will the BBD100-1 variant work on the US AT&T network? It appears to have the bands necessary to work on their 4G/LTE network.
This thread really should be stickied! I regularly check in on it when researching which variant ti import! Thank goodness thurask is here to drop some knowledge!
Thurask I'm traveling to Dubai this month and I'm looking forward to get me a BlackBerry Motion. My main carrier is Claro PR and i alternate with AT&T PR and USA. Would the variant available over there work on my carriers? Thanks
BBB100-1 is sold over there, but the BBB100-2 is for NA.
Does anyone know how these BBD100-x are mapped to product numbers like PRD-63737-003 or PRD-63737-007?
Online shops only show PRD numbers as model variant, but some show for the ending 003 that it is a dual sim and others for the 007 variant.
Any help would be really appreciated.
The middle of each PRD (ex. 63737) is the same for each phone variant, so all of the BBD100-2s are PRD-63739-xxx. The end of each PRD signifies differences within variants; different keyboards (only for PKB devices obviously), colors, regional variants, carriers (if applicable), etc.
Thanks for the information @thurask
Anyone knows how I can find the PRD for BBD100-6 (Dual Sim Global)?
PRD-63753-xxx.
