I got mine from Dubai last week and it is BBD 100-6. Dual Sim. Saw the models at Dubai Airport and various retailers, all were BBD 100-6. I believe this would work in NA also. I am using mine in India and it works well with two major carriers both in home and national roaming network.

Souq is selling the devices launched by BlackBerry through Axiom. All are BBD 100-6.

It's missing bands 29, 30, and 66. But I don't think TMO uses any of those.

T-Mobile is primarily 2, 4, and 12, but they are implementing 66/71 currently. Although none of the Motions have 71.

No, only the -1, -2 (non-AT&T) and -6 are released so far. It's been like two or three months since the Motion first launched, so if those other variants don't get out the door soon they might have been cancelled.

T-Mobile does (in a few places) use 66, but you won't suffer much not having that. Nobody has 71 right now except for (I believe) one LG device (the V30); that won't hurt you for another two years or so, as it's just starting to be deployed in a limited sense.

3-4 years from now 71 will be a big deal, just as 12 was when it started -- not a big thing for a while, then suddenly you lost half of Michigan if you didn't have it as they shut down prior roaming agreements when they turned up 12 there! (Prior to that there was no native T-Mobile coverage at all roughly north of Flint.)

The - 2 is a non-AT&T variant? In what sense?

There are two -2s in the OS; the unlocked and unbranded model (Canada, unlocked USA if that ever happens), and the AT&T branded model. The former is currently on sale at Canadian carriers, and is rumored to be sold unlocked in Canada some time next month.

I bought a -2 from PDA Plaza... unlocked, unbranded. I've had it for a few weeks now. When they got their initial shipment, they only got one unlocked, unbranded unit. I must have lucked out.

Works fine with Vodafone and Airtel in home and domestic roaming. Have tried the dual Sim option too and no issues at all. Jio VOLTE works well in home network. Not tried in roaming. I used Jio VOLTE on my DTEK60 - it worked without issues in home network (Mumbai) but won't allow calls while in roaming, only data worked. Can't confirm the same about Jio VOLTE on Motion yet.
