I even found the BlackBerry apps better performant on my note 9 then on my key2
I find the Hub, Inbox and Password Keeper similar in function between my Black Edition BlackBerry KeyOne on Oreo 8.1 and Samsung S9 on Pie 9.0. I actually think BlackBerry has done pretty well with their Android applications. Pretty stable on both

Check these out. I think either of them is a good replacement for my Motion. Though I am leaning more towards S10 Note Lite.

I have them on my Note 10+ and they work very well. I'm going to be switching to a different phone because I never use any of the Note features or the S-Pen.

Made the plunge today and purchased the Samsung S10. Sad to be leaving Blackberry, but no updates was the final straw.
Once I get the phone, I'm hoping to install the Blackberry keyboard and HUB. If I understand it correctly, I go to the play app and search for "Cobalt " ?

any one have an impression as to the Samsung S10e vs the Samsung A50 as a replacement for the Motion? Cost/benefit for example. I have already compared prices vs features and see pluses and minuse both ways.

    I'd just get the S10e.

I wouldn't really recommend anything Samsung that isn't a flagship in general.

The only main downside of moving to an S10e from a Motion will be battery life. But the S10e can still get you through a full day with about 6 hours of screen on time. If you do a bit of optimizing.

Other than that, the S10e completely demolishes the Motion in every conceivable way.

Cause they're usually just watered down versions of their flagships.

They don't get as good update support in the long run, and usually become slower after a few months.

I'd buy last year's S10 or even an S9 or Note 9 before I'd buy some A series midranger.

If you don't want to spend the big bucks on Flagship... the Pixel "a" should get updates just as long.

Hoping the the Pixel 4a fixes some of the issues with the Pixel 4... might be a better phone???

If it has a 3000mAh or more, it will be a better phone, battery wise. That plus a more efficient chipset.

Of course I don't expect it to have wireless charging or IP rating at that price.

For some Nokia might be an option as well...
