    I just noticed on my K1 screen a very thin green or blue line going from top to bottom, about a half inch in from the left.

    Not sure how long this has been there but, now that I've seen it, I can't stop seeing it.

    Can anyone explain what it is, what's causing it, and if it's covered under warranty? Have others seen this?

    Gawd, I dread the notion of an RMA for bench repair.

    this is a failed screen...I think the only way is to send it back for repair

    Don't get it repaired. Return it for cash back or get a replacement unit.

    That is a defective screen.

    I think with all these issues the manufacture should replace all handsets even the ones that at present has any fault. Once again misjudgement on how many people would buy a BB

    I guess what I would like to know is how likely is this to get worse or more lines appear? When I consider what I may need to do to transfer all my apps and UI setup over to another K1, I start to wonder if I would be better off living with it.

    Can someone explain how you would make the transfer?

    Amazon says it will replace the K1. So that's a good outcome.

    I absolutely would not live with it. Return it ASAP and get a brand new phone (do not accept a repair)

    I got my k1 less than a week ago and noticed the green line today. I was really happy with the k1 until this happened.
