I just changed from a keyone to a key2 and do not see a way to conference call anymore - i.e. add a call then merge calls feature. Not available, or only if I get a carrier specific phone versus an unlocked version?

There should be a 'add a call' button once you are connected to a call. Are you saying you don't have that?

No - I have 4 buttons on key2: Mute, keypad, sound and contacts only. and the traditional hang-up button below. My keyone had the "add a call" button, then a merge feature to join multiple calls. My spouse still has the keyone, so I could confirm with her phone.

Just not certain if it is a "change" with the key2 phone/OS when on an active call limiting button options or perhaps the fact it is an unlocked version on the ATT network (i.e. not bought through them)?

FYI - referred directly to Blackberry, so we shall see. They wanted much phone info including pictures of in-call screens.

I also upgraded to key2 From KEYone. The 4 buttons show when a call has not connected. Once a call connects, the Add Call and Hold. Buttons appear.
