So, have had problems with wifi connection to Link in the past, sometimes worked (usually after device or pc reboots) and sometimes not.
Just upgraded the z10 to 10.1 and now Link to 1.1.0.37, it will not find the z10 over wifi at all.

After the Link upgrade, I plugged in the z10 via USB and it installed drivers again, one of which failed. If I go into windows device manager, under network adapters, the triangle caution symbol is on "BlackBerry Virtual Private Network" but not sure how to fix this. Windows says the driver is up to date.

(No problem accessing the internet over wifi on the device, I can ping my device from pc with no problems. I have not been able to map network drive to the device, running Windows 7)

    Ideas??

I have almost the exsact same problem. I have no issues with the driver, but i cannot connect via. wifi.

It works fine when connected through USB, but wifi is a bummer.

I am running 1.1.0.37 bb link and 10.1.0.1762 firmware.

Ok well I downgraded to 1.1.0.33 to fix the driver thing temporarily and it seems to be working over wifi. It seems to sometimes require device reboot to connect... and I'm not holding my breath that this is fixed. I do know that some people had firewall issues that were preventing the wifi connection.

After my 10.1 update and link update, I'm seeming to have no problems, is the BlackBerry Link option on in the settings of your z10?

    Wagwan.

Started a security wipe last night, then software update. Just finished syncing with BlackBerry Link. As of now everything is working. Can access files remotely between two computers.

I have had this problem and BB know this is a problem with Z10 on Verizon network. They are working on this and here is a work around. On your phone Go to system setting and then network connections, then mobile network and turn off mobile network. After you do this is work just fine.

    Hope this helps.

I talked to BB support and this is a know issuer with Verizon network. The work around is very simple just go to mobile network and turn off mobile network in network connections. After this you will see you your computer file on your phone.

I have been having problems with link since forever. It's always been hit or miss but lately it's been more miss than anything. How is it that Apple can make their desktop software usable and BlackBerry can't?

Not sure if this is mentioned anywhere else, but it seems you can only use wireless mode between Link and BB10 when your BB is plugged in. Mine wouldn't find the phone until it was plugged into a power source, but as soon as it was it became available in Link.

I read this in the documentation too - but it's not true. My Z10 is unplugged, next to my laptop running Link, and it's wi-fi connected and just sync'd.

So I'm not exactly sure what happened. But i was having problems with blackberry link as well and came here hoping to find a fix for it. I had my Z10 connected by USB at the time cause I just did a back up of my device. Anyway, i decided to try one of the suggestions and unplugged my device. Funny though, when I went to "File manager " my device showed up as connected even though I had previously been trying like forever get it to.
I'm not sure like I stated earlier, but it appears that while connected via USB, and on the same Wifi it probably configured itself cause I can't really think of any one thing that I did that i can attribute the success to. Well, good luck to everyone still having the issue.
