I am trying (or possibly not) to backup my PB using the newest version of the LINK software. I don't see any progress meter or sliding-bar. Have I missed it or what? I have found the backup file and it is growing in size but that's not exactly helpful. It is going to run another hour, 4 hours, 12 hours or forever?

No actual percentage but there are progress indicators..

The circle will slowly turn completely blue..

And if you hover over you will get the full progress bar..

On the z10 side you see actual percentage on the screen. I haven't tried my playbook with link but assume from the question you aren't getting the device side info on it.

I wouldn't set my watch by it, I have seen it say complete on the device and still go for another minute on link etc, but it fully serves the purpose of seeing if it's progressing or frozen or 50% vs 80% done etc.. almost finished or going to take 4 more hours as the OP put it.

Thanks for the replies. If I ever run it again, I will look for the CIRCLE.

I did NOT see the "backup in progress" slider.

You have to first find the circle, and then hover over it with the cursor to get the bar

Backups certainly seem to freeze a lot. I have other weird things too, like music and videos saying they're synced when they actually aren't.

    Stupid Link...
