I cannot remote file access from my Z10 so I deleted my PC on my Z10 using the Blackberry Link trashcan - I thought why not. But I cannot figure out how to reconnect to it, anybody?

What OS version are you running? some have trouble with Remote File access.... unfortunately.....

You need to use Link and Pair the phone with your laptop again.... because you effectively just disabled the pairing between the two...

    Windows 8 64bit

    McAfee Internet Security 12.1

I did a security wipe, created a new BlackBerry ID, signed in on my Z10 and the laptop, and nadda, nothing, no remote file access. I see my laptop but no folders or files are showing - works when I do able the firewall - and yes I've added folders in link. In fact I'm fairly certain I've read most/all the CB threads on this issue and have tried all suggestions:

    Uninstall, reinstall BlackBerry Link
    Disable, re-enable IPv6
Sign out, sign in to BB Link
    Security wipe phone

    And so on....

I have three notebooks, one runs the software shown above, the other two run Windows7 64 bit with one using Symantec Endpoint Protection, and the other one McAfee Internet Security 12.1.

It doesn't work any of them!

This was the only feature I was excited about in 10.1

    This sucks!

I believe that you are running a leak. Download the latest official which is. 2354 and all should be fine.

I got quite frustrated with it as well when it has not been supported =(

Thanks for your continued suggestions Warlack . I've read that entire thread, tried the suggestions - nada, zippo!

On the one hand I think it's a firewall/security issue on the notebooks because the second I disable them (McAfee & SEP) RFA works. That said the common denominator is the Z10 not the internet security software not the operating system(s) hmmm.....
