I have had a lot of trouble with BlackBerry Link from the moment I bought my Z10 last April. Most of the issues have been not being able to sync. I have had periods where it would work flawlessly. Now it syncs but it takes forever to do so. What can I do?

I also added the option to use the Microsoft Connector to sync my contacts and calendar thru Outlook.com. This works great. Maybe I should just use Link for pictures, documents and software updates if they ever come thru. Thoughts?

What kind of computer do you have?
How fast is the CPU? How much RAM?
It's all relative to the condition of your PC.
Do you have a good anti-virus program or just a free version?
Do you leave it on all the time?
If you don't keep it running in good condition it affects everything else.

That's the most obvious place I'd start with.
Reboot if you haven't done so in awhile
    Full virus scan
Empty the cache (outdated files, etc..).
Make sure you have the latest version of Link.

I've no doubt you've done all this already but with no info to gauge it by...
it's hard to to say what the problem may be!

I found on my Z30 that I have to go into settings, Storage and Access

The first option is Access to Storage USB Connections.

There are 3 choices Auto Detect, Connect to Windows and Connect to Mac.

I found playing with these settings (depending on your type of computer) helped on my Blackberry Link performance.

When you're talking about many computers tied into one main terminal, unless you have "full access," you can bet that's the problem.
Also, who ever has assess to the main computer can also access your Computer, which means, unless you sign in and out of BB Link each time you use it,
your mobile device is an open book..

    PC means "Personal Computer,"
and personally, I wouldn't use the computer at work for sensitive material. (personally speaking!)

Ok...once again BlackBerry Link will not sync. I went on a trip, added two new contacts to the device (Z10) and returned to work 5 days later and the phone would not sync? What could possibly be the problem? Could it be the phone? I am about to give up...it has been a year of syncing issues. Any advice would be welcome!
