    Hey guys,

I'm experiencing some problems with my Blackberry Link.

    Story time...
Long story short, I had problems to connect (device setup incomplete etc) so I first tried to uninstall BB Link and reinstall. Uninstall went crazy and actually didn't removed anything, so I removed everything manually, HDD and register. Tried to reinstall some days later and told me I hadn't enough privileges. So let it and thought about it, then went back some days later, tried again and it worked smoothly
But the PC still couldn't recognise the device. So went through the forums and found the option to manually set "Connect to Windows" and it started working, but showed another problem: "Device Setup Incomplete". Went crazy and decided to format everything and load the new autoloader 10.3.1.1949 for my Z10 STL100-2. Installation went smooth and resolved a lot of problems, but now the BB Link can't connect to the device.

I've looked for the option "Connect to Windows" in BB 10.3.1 but couldn't find it!!!

I've also tried to manually set and IP from the BB setting both 169.254.0.1 and 169.254.32.1 (I had the feeling that the second one would have worked) but stil the same problem: BB Link tries for a long time to connect to the device than fails.

    Sachesi doesn't work too.

What can I do? At the moment I can connect to the device only through development mode in the IDE.

    Please help me!

And, by the way, best wishes for a happy new year!!!

Sorry if you have done this already but have you removed the BlackBerry device drivers, deleted link and then tried to reinstall.

I am running link on Windows 8.1 with a Z10 on the latest leak without issue.

    Hope that helps.

You should probably down load BB Blend from here, it will load you up with the latest blend, link and drivers.

I've already uninstalled, cleaned and rebooted a couple of times, always reinstalling the latest version, but it doesn't work.
Before the leak, I managed to make it work manually setting "Connect to Windows" but now I can't find this anymore.

Could please someone that have this thing working (apologize for my english xD) tell me what IP you have when you go in Device Manager (start menu bar, near the clock), right-click then Properties and finally Connected devices?

Do you have any other idea?

    Thank you in advice!!!

More info, if I go in "Device Management" in W8, in the group "Network Interfaces Card" (I'm traducing, it might not be the same) I can see a yellow alert triangle near "BlackBerry Device" and "BlackBerry Tethering Device".

I've already formatted my phone, but I'd like to avoid to format my PC.

@steve: would you please screenshot the "Connected Devices" tab? Thank you

I had trouble loading Link before but wasn't dealing with blend... here's what I had to do.

Go to device manager and find a "BlackBerry device" driver that isn't working properly (yellow marked) and uninstall it.

Keep the device manager open and plug in your phone. Driver should load properly.

    Worked for me.
