My personal recommendation would be to go for the newer device; Leap. Especially with the revelations that the latest software release is causing enough problems on the Z30 that BlackBerry has offered an extended warranty on that model.

Leap's screen is no Passport but it's miles ahead of the Z30's screen.

BlackBerry's AMOLED's are very poor quality in my opinion.

I would like to see comments from someone who has actually used both a Z30 and a Leap. Spec sheets is one thing, and no doubt indicative of future performance, but it's the subjective user experience I'm interested in.

So if you appreciate a good display just go away from the Z30.
I went to buy it today and was shocked from the low quality compared to both my Z10 and iPhone6.
Design and build quality is better than the leap though.
For me I will go for the leap, I think it will be at least better than the Z30.

Dont pay attention, it is all non sense, they should ban that guy from ever posting again. The z30 is a solid phone, screen is great, deep blacks, excellent whites, good resolution.

I would really loved to grab the Z30 and still would like to but the brightness of the screen was too low even set to the max. Regarding colors the white seemed to be yellow and the screen was far to be sharp.
Please advise if this was just the display unit or if that issue was fixed by Os updates.
I thought that the leap was released with Lcd to fix that.
Waiting kind feedback back for a blackberry lover.

When comparing the specs of the Z30 to the Leap, on the surface things all point to the z30, but when you get down and dirty in person. One look at the Leap's screen and you will choose the Leap quickly.

I was sure from that because after testing the Z30 yesterday, the display wasn't accepted at all compared to my Z10 and Iphone 6.
Then found that they released the Leap with Lcd along with the classic and the passport.
No wonder no more Amoled.

But most Z30 users (not all) are insisting that they had great screens comparable for the Z10.
It confused me more that they made me feel the unit I tested was defected or something : ).
Reviews here kept saying that you will get used for it !!!

I have a Z10, a Z30 and the Leap, must say that the Z30 is far better, but the "squareness"
of the Leap really gets to you. As a comparison between the Z30 and the Leap, go for the Z30. It has a lot of goodies that the Leap does not have.

Okay tell me regarding the screens which is the best if possible, since you have all three you can easily compare.
