    Until this morning I could listen to songs on YouTube on my BlackBerry leap browser while writing email or clearing messages on the hub, i.e. even when it was not the active window.
    But now, with no other changes whatsoever, it's suddenly stopped working correctly. If I minimise the YouTube window or even lock the screen, the clip stops playing. Any ideas what I might do correct this?

    There is no real fix. Sometimes it works.. other times it won't. Some people blame YouTube. Some people blame BlackBerry 10. It is what it is.

    So I tried everything and this is the solution that finally worked for me!

    Turn off block pop-up
    Clear cookie, history
    Go to youtube
    Play something
    Turn on block pop-up

    Just realized mine does this as well, about 5 minutes ago. I am using a Z10 though.

    I blame Google, because the background play works on other websites still, think cause Google is pushing "Google red" when we bb10 users already had that feature, I swear I feel like there's a war out against bb10

    Use desktop mode.

    Only clear cookies and problem resolved. Re do every time it fails. It seems there was a change on the YouTube side, not BB10.
