    I bought my mom a white Leap on Friday. I just noticed that under the sim flap it says "Made in Mexico." I presumed that Foxconn was still making devices for BlackBerry. Could the White Leap be the exception?

    Mexico...and glad for it. All the devices I have owned have been built in Mexico and have done right by me. The days when Mexico equated cheap quality and poor manufacturing are long gone.

    Only the accessories are made in China.

    Bla1ze,

    Did it surprise you that Blackberry did contract Winstron to make it instead of Foxconn?

    When I initially heard that I was a little shocked since I was expecting this device to be prices really low for volume and figured BB would have used the lowest cost producer.
