Leap doesn't have the sensor required for this to be possible with holster, despite the fact that that advertising for the holster says different. It's a pain in the ***!

    This.

I don't know why BlackBerry didn't include the sleep magnet it can't cost that much. Also when I purchased my case it says it's NFC friendly, but the Leap doesn't have NFC lol

Yeah, I'd also like to know if there is a way to lock the Leap without using the "lock" button ?

Hmm isn't it possible to build a small app for that? I mean the Passport does lock when you press the letter 'K'.. and legacy devices also had a lock icon to lock the phone... any developers who can shine some light on this?

Lmao... little **** like this is why I can't recommend the Leap over the Z30... Chen's big fails Z3/Leap... Never should of released it, could of relaunched the Z30 for a lower price or just release a new high-end BlackBerry touch device to mirror the passport...

Well technically yes... if yop set the auto-lock for 1 minute and then just wait 60 seconds.

But surely there's a native sdk routine which some enterprising App developer can use / call to simulate when 'k' is pressed (for example) ... no ?

You have a button on the top end of Leap. Press once, done. No big deal. For the price Leap is unbeatable.

No, I love using lockscreen options, and they're just not available on BB10.

Blackberry simply doesn't allow developers control over device functions like that.
