Is the passport really fast compared to the leap... I'm still hesitating between both... I really like the leap.. (I don't own one) and I also like the passport... is there a huge speed difference.... or its pretty small

It's a big difference. I would not suggest the leap at this point

That's overstating a bit, I think. It's definitely noticeably faster on the PP than the other BB10s, though. Android apps in particular.

I would agree with your statement. Having owned both yes the general use of the passport is noticeably faster, and things like mapping and certain other intensive apps, but web browsing, texting, and accessing the hub is not much different. But there is a tremendous difference when using Android apps.

There is a huge difference between their chipsets. If Passport's 801 is ancient (it is), then Leap's S4 is mesozoic.

Even now, the Leap remains a perfectly capable daily driver for email, browsing, navigation, file manager, etc with a nice bright screen. And the camera and video camera are fine, punching well above the published 8MP.
At around ₤80 new and boxed, its a great value for money, no nonsense BlackBerry.
