    Hello all,
    I tried inserting my freedom SIM card into two BB Leap Smartphones but none of the phones detected this sim card.
    I called BB technical support, they said that based on the IMEI both phones are unlocked and can be used with any carrier. Can someone guide me pls on why both of these phones are not detecting SIM Card?
    I would have thought that the SIM card slot is damaged but I don't think so as My sim card is 100% working and both phones are not detecting the sim card.
    Pls, help to advise and guide. I also updated the software for both devices.
    Do you think I should do a factory reset or any other option?

    I don't think they activate GSM phones anymore. You need VoLTE in order for it to work, and the Leap doesn't support that.

    Wait, Freedom Mobile?

    They primarily use band 66. The Leap does not support band 66.

    Ok Thank you for confirming that its not my mobile sim slot problem it's the frequency of the carrier.
