I don't know if it's just me, but android apps run a tad bit quicker in my z30 compared to my z10.
Perhaps, too early to say, since I'm just on my second day with it.

My Z30 was stolen, then I will buy Leap. But ..
- no NFC (I want use it .. although 95% of smartphone users are stupid and not able to use it for easy secure share of photos for example .. )
- no HDMI (I use it sometime with projector in work..)
- no 5GHz WiFi (in big cities 2.4GHz WiFi are messy unusable)
- normal power-eating LCD .. (Amoled is better for me .. )
- no USB otg/host (I am IT geek, I use it sometimes .. you know .. )
- For Europe Z30 have good LTE .. no need Leap with more LTE bands
Then .. I must buy again one of last Z30 devices..
At the end of the day, the Leap works for me. Some might prefer the LCD screen over the AMOLED screen. It's your money...get what you want.
Things like NFC, USB OTG, etc would be nice to have, but I wouldn't use them much, if at all.
I'm happy with the Leap as a daily driver. The only thing I miss from the Q10 is the gyroscope. Some apps like Star Tracker don't work well without one.
I don't play games on my phone, and for what I use a phone for, the Leap MORE than satisfies my needs. Couldn't care less if 3D graphics are better on a Z30.
It is my first all touch device, and I'm glad I got it.

I live in a big big city and and the 2.4 GHz WiFi gives me no problems. Actually my Leap seems to connect faster than my Z10 did...
Cartman says: Screw you guys I'm going home!
I love my BlackBerry Devices. I started with the Nice PlayBook, then Storm2, Torch9860, Z10 and now my New Super BlackBerry LEAP!!!
I just got it yesterday and I think it's a Great Smartphone.

You didn't even realize (at least one of his) his points completely clashes with your reasoning?
Unless BlackBerry decides to cut some corners by eliminating test scenarios, I imagine one small benefit of not doing major upgrades in hardware (Passport notwithstanding) is that the Leap and Classic being similar hardware will get updates that will correspondingly benefit the Z30, Z10 and Q10.
You realize you just insulted a lot of people here, right?(although 95% of smartphone users are stupid )
Wow - you have an extraordinary high opinion of yourself.
My post (#41) very clearly stated that while the Leap might have "Superior" processor speed and more RAM, the iPhone 6 blows the Leap away (along with most flagships) because the hardware is optimized to work with the software perfectly. Something Apple does exceptionally well. Which is why they don't need cutting edge specs.
I like the Leap for what it is, a low-mid range device that does everything I need.

Wow, obnoxious much?
The information came from here:
BlackBerry Leap vs. BlackBerry Z10 - GSMArena.com
HOWEVER after doing some further research it sounds as though gsmarena.com is incorrect on this and it is actually an Adreno 225 as you said.

Well... perhaps not anymore...
Attachment 361062
the latest leak of the upcoming apple device... with Qualcomm.
LOL. Maybe the time is coming to an end.
