You know what, it may be "ugly" but it has acceptable specs and it will be for a good price. I might actually pick on up for my dad. As long as the battery life is good then he will be happy. Alongside a nice large 5" inch HD 720p screen with a 8mp camera.

    I disagree.

and it will be for a good price.
Regarding the (former) launch prices of other BB10 devices, especially the ones that can be considered as entry/mid-range devices (Q5, Z3, Classic), I highly doubt that this will be the case.

Sorry but the processor/GPU is the same as the Z10, which actually has a worse GPU than the Z3. So the specs are not acceptable to me as a former Z10 user who routinely saw the device struggle to do thing like Waze and Pandora at the same time. They are simply trying to get rid of over purchased processors, just like the good ole days of BBOS.

I think the only hope here is its just for emerging. Keep in mind nothing has been announced .

I don't understand why cheap phones are only made for "emerging" markets. I sure could use throwaway phones at work.

The photos don't display in the CB10 browser on my Passport. Maybe the Leap will perform better in that regard? Lol

Not pretty but a descent upgrade from the Z3 if indeed the price is the same as the Z3 at launch.

    Samsung Galaxy Trend Plus

All devices which are low end for emerging markets. Places like Africa where I live. Many people still use BBOS devices which have very low specs compared to today's standard.

So if you have them a 5" inch device with a HD screen, and a big battery, I promise you they will be happy because it's a really nice upgrade.

Other parts In the world where the Galaxy Notes and iPhone 6 devices rule. It's "terrible" "ugly" and "a waste of time" to them. But everyone must think outside the box.

I personally don't like the look of it but it's all unofficial so the looks may change

The way I see it, the Leap is just using up leftover parts from Thors over-optimism when he had a zillion Z10's readied for production 3+ years ago. It's a repackaged Z10 with larger screen and battery. CPU, RAM, camera, etc. are the same I believe.
