I couldn't find another "Leap in the Wild" thread.

Saw one last night at a bar in Kingston, ON. While I had never seen one before, I immediately knew what it was. So I asked the guy about it...

You would have thought that the Leap was the most amazing invention ever. This guy wanted me to see how awesome it was...to the point where I was sorry I'd asked. I don't think he realized that BlackBerry or any other manufacturer made other devices.

But...all said and done, BlackBerry has a happy Leap owner.

Hell, you can hardly find a Leap owner on CB.
I'm stretching it of course, but I feel there's a lot less Leap users than even Q5 users.

Forgive my typos, I don't look when I type

True, I think you will find more z3 owners out there compared to Leap. Personally I love it but it doesn't seem to be a popular device.

BB10 devices are hard to find in the wild period. I think the Q10 is the one I've seen most. I've never seen another Leap, and I've seen 2 Passports and a few Classics.

Never seen a Leap ever. Not one.

Only BlackBerry handsets I usually see are Classics and Q10s. I saw Passport a couple times. Might be the same guy.

Maybe it's just me but whenever I see a person using a BlackBerry I get an instant smile. So nice to see BlackBerry devices in the wild.

never seen the Leap or any BB10 phones in the wild, but I see many legacy Blackberry phones most are 9900's being used for Business, i still use a 9900 at work, and have a Q10 for personal use.

I see them every now and then. They're surprisingly thick!

Mind you I also see a fair bit of BlackBerry 10 devices as I live and work in and around the city of Toronto. Yesterday alone I saw a few Z10, Z30, PassPort, Q10 and a few legacys.

I've had my Leap for about three weeks and I love it. My first BB phone. Had iPhone 4 as work supplied phone then Samsung Galaxy S3 when I retired. Samsung was useless, had to charge twice a day. Leap does everything I need and more, great battery life and as intuitive as an iPhone (only cheaper to purchase and cheaper plans available).

I actually see a few business guys having them. The phone does look nice but I wish the specs were a little better. I already had the Z10, so it's not much of an upgrade. I think the OS is already good enough that specs are now more important once again.

I'm curious to know what Leap owners feel about their phones? I am seriously regretting getting the LG G Stylo over the Leap when I signed up on Wind Mobile (Canadian carrier). It's just because if I had to pay for a new BlackBerry phone, it would have to be a Z30, but they don't hold it.

I got all caught up with the Android hype, thinking if Venice (now Priv) was already on Android, it sure can't be that bad of an OS. I decided to jump ship, but I slowly realized how much I miss the BB10 feel.

I cringe every time I see the Leap because I get jealous and can't even admit to them the phone looks nice. I always just imagine them responding "it's a BlackBerry and it sucks but work makes me use it".

Hi, I'm new here. I'm looking for BlackBerry leap in Malaysia. Unfortunately up to this time, yet able to find any leap in seal box condition. Is it normal?

My wife got a Leap not too long ago. She's enjoying it now that she's gotten over the learning curve of the OS. Battery life is excellent on it

My son chose the Leap over the Priv. He had a Z10 that was a hand me down from me and was slowly dying. He loves the Leap. Says it is quite responsive, great battery life and feels solid. Someone asked him why he didn't chose the Priv (it would be his first new phone, as a reward for good grades, behavior etc) and he replied it was too much of an Android for him. We share an Android tablet with Lollipop, and he is familiar with that OS.

Just saw a brand new one today at work carried by someone who's Z10 just died. The square corners make for a different grip as compared to my Z30's rounded corners. It felt considerably lighter as well. I did not however swipe it on because that would be rude.

I've never seen another leap in South Africa. I'm loving mine though. The battery life is great and it feels good in the hands the speaker could've been better but other than that I'm loving it and don't regret buying it and as a die hard blackberry fan I'll end up using it for
Very long time since blackberry is planning on dropping another android phone...

I've had Leap since May. I've never seen another one at all..in fact...I can only remember even seeing one other BlackBerry out there..it was a Classic. I have no complaints...ish. The ear piece speaker for phone is getting harder and harder hear. Going to bring in to Rogers to have dealt with. Otherwise, nice big screen. I don't need NFC (it's just as easy to pull out a debit card) and I do t need magnetic compass as I have GPS so....
