    I have just realized my new leap is the version sold in Europe STR100-1. It is still returnable for a week or two. Should I go to all the trouble of switching to an STR100-2 or is this phone as good in the US? Anyone else out there using the 1 model?

    LTE band 1(2100), 2(1900), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 7(2600), 13(700), 17(700) - North America

    LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 7(2600), 8(900), 20(800) - Global

    You should exchange it. Bands 2, 4, 5, and 17 are the most widely used.

    So I should get the STR100-2 for the USA? Or is there an STR100-3 also?
    What is best for USA? Also I have a friend who goes to Central and South America. Would this STR100-1 phone be better in Latin America ? Thanks.
