With all of the negativity out there about the Leap I figured I put my 3 cents in. Going on three days and by no means is this device an entry level device. The screen is beautiful with crisp colors along with an awesome keyboard to type on.

Don't listen to all the negative hype the new blackberry leap is a stellar device in my opinion!

The camera is on par with most devices (except apple of course) you won't be disappointed with the Leap

    Using my Leap!

I agree with you, coming from the z30 that I paid $600 for over a year ago. The leap is beautiful, I like the looks of it much better. I took it to the office today and had plenty of complements.

I think the leap will end up one of the best selling devices for BlackBerry if they market it correctly.

If they brought it to Verizon, that would help. I know it's not cdma, but they BB could add this.

Blackberry will only make a device if carriers will sell it. Verizon needs to get on board before they produce the device. Blackberry is tired of marking down devices that don't sell.

I'm agreed your point, but BlackBerry OS must be stable and more choices of apps. Otherwise BlackBerry cannot competition over android and iphone.

Yes, If they market it correctly. I never see any ads from BlackBerry in Indonesia. Even passport or classic.
I can only see Samsung Galaxy S6 which everytime I turn my TV channels, the chance to see the ads is more than 50%. Even in the newspaper, Samsung and other brands always there, no blackberry ads.

That is the second review where the Leap was described as tall. It is about the same height as other 5 inch phones. Go to GSM arena. The Leap is very close to the height of a S6.

Coming from Android it looks like this phone would be a great device for me, having never owned a BB10 device before. Also the price is spot on so I have no quibbles there.

Keep your old phone just to acquire APK android apps. There is an APK Extractor Android app. You will have all (most?) of your apps except where the app requires Google Play services.
